Some stories make you want to laugh and cry. For the victim. For the bad guys. This is one of those stories.
Randolph Bean (our victim) was sitting outside of the Orlando Regional Medical Center in his 2002 Millennium yellow Z06 Corvette and waiting for his wife to get off of work. Suddenly the door was opened and two men (these would be the bad guys) dragged Bean out of his car and onto the ground. Carjacking time!
But the high performance sports car wouldn’t start. It wasn’t an engine problem … it was because the car thief didn’t know how to drive a stick shift. Nor did his partner in crime.
Happy ending. Sort of. Bean stayed on the ground, the car stayed parked, the two “we’re too dumb to know how to drive a stick” crooks only got our victim’s phone, wallet and keys, and they ran off into the night.. The car is currently in hiding lest the two idiots find a friend who knows what a clutch is, so before the PRISTEEN ‘vette is SEEN, BEAN might get MEAN and change the locks in his KEEN driving MACHINE.
