It might not have a lot to do with insurance fraud, however as responsible reporters the Editors of The John Cooke Fraud Report believe that this warning needs to go to fraud-fighters everywhere. The first reason is that it fills up a small piece of space that we really weren’t using anyway, and the second reason is that it could prove to be a future red flag. Or a white bra. Or a black bra. Just be very careful out there in the field and pay special attention to those loss reports. Here goes:
An Everett Washington woman, Donna Lange, described as approximately 5’6″ tall and about 192 pounds, is believed to have used her breasts to smother and kill her 5’7″/175-pound boyfriend after an altercation at their mobile home in the Airport Inn Trailer Park. Witnesses at the scene reported that Lange initially threw the unfortunate Romeo down behind the mobile home; then she was seen 
covering his face with her chest. While perhaps muffled, the boyfriend was telling Lange to get off of him. Despite the best CPR efforts by responding medics, he was pronounced dead at Swedish Hospital. In his hands, reportedly, were strands of her hair — suggesting a fight to the end. Deputies documented evidence showing that Lange had facial injuries and the unfortunate boyfriend had face and hand injuries. He also reportedly had a heart condition.
Reports from all were sporadic and conflicting because the two fighters and the witnesses had consumed way too much in the way of spirits. At the hospital, the intoxicated Lange denied knowing how her boyfriend had died. Maybe she can DEATH BY ASPHYXIATION Crime Busting 101 remember the details after the charges of second degree manslaughter get filed. Or mansmother. Or something like that.
At least two other similar cases have been in the news in recent years.
- A German lawyer, Tim Schmidt, stated that his 38DD girlfriend tried to smother him while claiming to be playing a sex game — and she was charged with attempted manslaughter with a weapon. (Editor’s note: we suspect that she was wielding two weapons, but what do we know?)
- A UK mother of three, while having sex with her boyfriend, mistook his flailing around as a sign of excitement. Never mind that her size 40LL breasts were the actual reason that he stopped moving and appeared to no longer be breathing. Lucky for her that he regained consciousness. Not surprisingly, they have since broken up.
