Dr. Gilbert Glass, a dentist and the owner of American Dental Center of Union, has pleaded guilty to two counts of theft by deception in the fourth degree.
Glass was found to be waiving deductibles and copayments for many Delta Dental Plan and Unity Dental Plan patients. At the same time, Glass would bill the insurance plans for the full amount of the visit. It was also an encouragement to bring the entire family along for check-ups and dental maintenance.
