The Pelonomi Hospital is located in Free State, South Africa. A major mystery had everyone abuzz. Every single Friday morning, for several months, a patient was found dead in the same bed, in the same room. Some suggested a rare bacterial infection as the cause, but autopsy results did not support such a conclusion. Others blamed the hospital air conditioning system, but that, too, could not be proven. Nothing made sense but still the patients continued to die.
Then the mystery was solved. It seems that a cleaning woman was charged with polishing the hospital floors every Thursday night. Unable to find an open electrical outlet, the cleaning woman took a plug out of an outlet, plugged her machine in, polished the floors, and then replaced the original cord into the plus. That cord provided power to a particular bed’s life-support system the one that kept producing the dead patients on Friday mornings. And you thought YOU had problems!
